Karumo Versus Shinigai

Karumo entered into the arena, the symmetry of the stadium was pleasing and the temperature was mild. A small wind blew through the air, but the sound would be drowned out by the roar and chatter of the crowds. The stands itself seemed nice, everything shiny and it was sunny despite the clouds scattered in the sky, the reflection of light gave off every shiny surface there. Karumo entered in from a tunnel off to the side, some cheering as the first combatant entered, he slowly walked his way towards the arena and to the steps up. He took his jacket and tossed it just outside the arena, with his pouch of ninja tools and other things as well, this fight was purely with his fists and his own technique.

Hands in his pants pocket, he slowly walked his way up onto the arena, taking one hand out and apathetically waving to the crowd once to be safe. The judge and a referee were talking off to the side, and an announcer excitedly shouting some things to the crowd hyped up in anticipation of it all. Karumo stood towards the back of the circular arena while he waited for his opponent to enter as well, he had already decided to let his opponent make the first move, after their greeting or however the beginning of this fight was to go. He knew he wanted to see what his opponent would do first, as long as he could, but without his jutsu, Karumo was already at a disadvantage with his lack of taijutsu proficiency he would have to be clever in order to beat his opponents.

Entering the twenty meter wide round arena, Kino would look at his opponent. He looked fairly familiar, the Kage of Kazangakure. He'd wanted a fight with the Kage before, them being allegedly the most powerful in the village. He would grin, as he progressed across the arena towards his opponent. Entering the ten meter mark, he would develop a more serious and stern face, he continued to move as the battle would commence. Extending a clenched fist that shuld distance the two, Kino would begin to say; "Good luck, Kage." He said, looking directly at him, hoping for some kind of response, for it would be a shame if this battle would be cut short.

Karumo watched him enter, a Sannin of his own village, this would be a great test for not only himself but hopefully for his opponent as well. Once they were set, standing ten meters apart, and five meters from the centerpoint of the arena. Karumo called out to him, "And to you as well, let's give them a good show." he said as he shifted his body, letting one foot slide back and squatting slightly with one arm forward. He took his ready position and focused in on his target, his mind immediately wandered to what he would do and when, the anxiety built as he anticipated the beginning of the fight. He slowly began to push the roar and banter of the crowd to the back of his mind, the judge in the corner of Karumo's eye began to raise his hand in anticipation of the beginning of the fight.

A short pause in the air, things seemed to slow down, and once his arm was released and quickly fell to his side. Karumo would run forward towards his opponent sliding before he would arrive, sliding into a spinning kick at his opponents ankles, he wanted to knock him off quickly right from the start and set the pace, retracting his original idea of letting his opponent set the pace. If he missed his kick, he would jump back and try to separate himself, but if he landed his kick, he would press the advantage in any way that he could.

Kino stood there, in anticipation of Karumo coming at him. Kino would normally would want to make the first attack, however, this man was allegedly the strongest within Kazangakure, the title alone making it clear that Kino shouldn't be to reckless with things here. He lowered his arm back down to his side, taking a fairly loose looking stance. He stood there casually, waiting for him to move towards him. A sigh would escape Kino's lips, the first few seconds were agonizingly boring. He grinned when he saw Karumo heading towards him first. Kino being more in the center of the arena, he figured this was better for him. As Karumo would begin to get closer, he anticipated an attack. A punch, most likely. He began to think of the better way to counter some type of punch, and couldn't think of much in the spur of the moment, when Karumo got close enough, Kino would jump up, turning in mid-air as he launched a flying back kick towards his opponents head, figuring it would be better to knock him out quicker rather than stalling out this fight. That was his style, after all.

Kino wins by forfeit!!!
