| • name ;;The Eight Inner Gates • rank ;; Varies • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; None • cool down;; See below • description ;; This technique revolves around the user opening a series of (you guessed it) eight chakra points that limit the flow of chakra throughout the users body. The gates, when opened, allow the user's body to surpass its limits in ways that humans could likely never achieve without this technique. Of course, this immense power comes at the cost of wear and tear on the user's body, and when pushed too far, can cost them their life. The gates can be used for a certain number of posts depending on the user's durability. For every 10 points in the user's durability, their body can withstand the strain the gates put on them for an extra post.
Certain gates have drawbacks, that can cause harm to the user. These injuries may leave the user crippled, (depending on the user's health,) and vary between the gates. These techniques must be claimed on the limited list, and require Taijutsu as a first spec. Each gate must also be trained after claiming, and must be learned in order. Also, the stats gained do not stack. They are replaced as the next gate is opened.
• name ;; The Gate of Opening • rank ;; D • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; Self • cool down;; Once a topic • description ;; This gate is located in the brain, and when opened, stops the brain from limiting the users muscles. The user gains 5 strength and speed.
• name ;; Gate of Healing • rank ;; D • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; Self • cool down;; Once a topic • description ;; The second gate located in the brain, when activated, forcibly increases the user's strength beyond what it was, while also temporarily healing the body.
This can not heal things that could be considered major injuries. (No regeneration of limbs, or severely broken bones, for example.)
The user's strength and speed are increased by 10.[/list]
• name ;; The Gate of Life • rank ;; C • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; Self • cool down;; Once a topic • description ;; The Gate of Life is the first of the gates located on the spinal cord. This gate doesn't do too much, aside from forcing the user's muscles to push themselves harder than the other two gates. Also, the user's skin turns red due to the blood.
The user's strength and speed are increased by 20
• name ;; The Gate of Pain • rank ;; C • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; Self • cool down;; Once a topic • description ;; This gate, much like the gate of life, removes even more limits on the user's body, and allows them to use greater strength. When this gate is activated, and the user moves too strenuously, it causes the user's muscles to tear.
The user's strength and speed are increased by 40. After deactivation, the user's strength and speed are decreased by 40. This can, at best, be cut in half by having a sufficient health. (This doesn't effect the speed of the user's brain, thus they don't think slower.)
• name ;; The Gate of Limit • rank ;; B • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; Self • cool down;; Once a topic • description ;; Located in the abdomen, once unlocked, the user's speed and strength are increased once more. Also, more muscles begin to tear than the last gate. Muscle tear doesn't stop, but at this point, the muscles can't tear any further, thus there is no more damage at this point. The users strength and speed are increased by 80
After deactivation, the user's strength and speed are reduced by 80. This can be at best lowered to 40 by having sufficient health.
• name ;; The Gate of View • rank ;; A • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; Self • cool down;; Once a topic • description ;; Located in the stomach, this gate increases the user's speed and strength to such extents that nearby sources of water react to their movements by forming a vortex around the user. Water techs that approach the user while in this state, will require a certain power to make it to the user.
The user's strength and speed are increased by 160.
Upon deactivation, the user's strength and speed are reduced by 160, with a minimum of 0. If the user hits 0 strength, they cannot move after this technique is deactivated, due to not being able to move their own muscles.
• name ;; The Gate of Wonder • rank ;; S • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; Self • cool down;; Once a topic • description ;; This gate, which is located below the stomach, causes the user's body to reach even higher points of speed and strength. Those that activate this gate, will secrete a glowing (color up to the user) sweat that evaporates instantly. The sweat comes from every inch of the user's body, and can be mistaken for an aura of chakra. The drawbacks to this gate, are that the user's muscle fibers are shredded, causing intense pain.
The user's strength and speed are increased by 320.
This go around, the user has no choice. When pushed to this gate, the user, upon deactivation of the gates, loses control of their muscles, seeing as the muscle fibers themselves were shredded. The user cannot move until someone either removes them from the scene or provides first aid. Even if they were provided first aid, they would still be unable to fight, let alone walk by themselves. Afterward, they must do a recovery topic to gain their full stats back. (The word count must still be decided.)
• name ;; The Gate of Death • rank ;; SS • type ;; Taijutsu • element ;; None • range ;; Self • cool down;; Once a topic • description ;; This gate requires an object that can break the user's health. Such as a knife, or in the case of the user, potentially their own hand. This object is then stabbed above the heart, where the eighth gate is located. Once activated, the blood from the wound, along with blood from the pores of the user's body, begin to evaporate into steam, emanating a red aura.
This gate increases the user's strength and speed by 640.
While immensely powerful, this gate causes the user to die by evaporating into ash after the technique is used.

NOTE*** the formatting messed up when I posted it for some reason. I'm actually quite surprised that this has not been approved yet, especially since this technique has been used many times, so I'm gonna say approved | |
