Description: In this broadest sense, a Technologist is a Technology Specialist, and as such, thinks much differently than the normal average being. They like to figure out how things work, why they work the way they do, and what would happen if you combined multiple different components together to produce something new and unseen. They have spent many years, if not decades, honing their skill-sets into fine points in a multitude of different areas. As such, the term Technologist contains a fair amount of tongue-in-cheek, and it is, and should be, embraced despite the incongruity.

The wide ranging skill-sets which are the hallmark of technologists are ideal for connecting people, technology, and business opportunities. Rather than spending years of education and experience on any one thing, a technologist has an intense curiosity in technology in general. This has led them to become familiar with many different aspects, and to develop skills and experience in a variety of fields. Thus, a technologist is a good person to know if you’re trying to solve a problem and you’re not quite sure how to go about it, making someone with this characteristic ideal for advising a Kage as Council.

On Naruto Crisis, this Special Characteristic is applied in a manner which allows the user to develop the ability to handle Materials found in the Material System delicately, and think of them differently than other shinobi or civilians. This allows them to create basic to moderate rudimentary technology. To get a basic grasp of what this means, consider medieval technology as being on par with what a Technologist can produce. This allows them to embrace and utilize major technological advances, including the adaptation of gunpowder, the invention of vertical windmills, spectacles, mechanical clocks, greatly improved water mills, building techniques and allowed agriculture to bloom with the idea of three-field crop rotation.

Following the former description given, this allows the owner of this Special Chracteristic to utilize Metal Alloys in ways that allow them to implement things such as electricity - and improve upon devices created in conjugation with gundpowder and multiple other unique alloys, provided the Material allows the expansion of logic behind the creation of an item by a Master Technologist. Thus, with enough fine detail and creativity, just about anything can be created and used by this engineer of nature.
